Author Biography

The Author's career history includes military service, teaching college-level martial arts, instructing Scuba diving, technical engineering on the Boeing Supersonic Jet Transport program and in the commercial aircraft manufacturing and aerospace industries. His career continued in administrative law enforcement, and as a pilot in aviation. Mr. Stollwerck recently retired after a career with a major international airline. He strives to remain active in aqua aerobics, and by creative writing. This is his ninth novel, in addition to his seven print-published Asian travelogues. Mr. Stollwerck holds a FAA Commercial Pilot’s license for the operation of fixed-wing, high-performance, multi-engine aircraft; and in turbine-powered rotorcraft (jet-turbine helicopters). He is U.S. Coast Guard-certified in Advanced Coastal/Celestial navigation and Command/Operation of high-powered boats such as multi-engine offshore racers. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has certificated the author as a Combat Firearms instructor. He also holds certification in a course on Advanced Law Enforcement taught by the FBI and Washington State Criminal Justice Commission. Mr. Stollwerck also has held a law enforcement commission in one of the government’s less visible alphabet agencies. In 2010 Mr. Stollwerck became a contributor to the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. __ 2010 was a busy year for all of us here. Mr. Stollwerck moved his permanent residence to Washington State where he is already researching his tenth novel. The NPG website is in the process of being discontinued. The information normally found there will be transferred to an in-process, yet-unnamed site in Washington.
